Episode 2 – Agents of Desire – Shocking Soulkiller Secret Reveals Hundreds of Aisha Copies

    Intro Paragraph

Soulkiller Secret turned a missing-person case into one of Night City’s ugliest digital nightmares. The crew resumed Aisha Tang’s trail after their strange night at La Lune Bleue. Winter returned after being detained, while Iris shared footage of Kodai Khan dining across from an empty chair. Then the evidence became even stranger. Aisha had left 4overTechnologies twelve years earlier, despite Kodai believing she still worked there. Her latest message warned about other women, approaching buyers, and only a few hours remaining.

The crew traced custom firmware on both agents to Lotus LeMarch, an elite tech living nearby. Getting through his door required a fake delivery involving rare pickled asparagus, because Night City investigations occasionally run on preserved vegetables. Nova finally persuaded LeMarch to talk. He admitted that Kodai had blackmailed him into using his program on a drugged Aisha, creating the Soulkiller Secret. The program killed her body, copied her consciousness, and loaded her engram onto an agent. Kodai’s altered optics and audio then let him see and hear the digital Aisha as if she remained beside him.

LeMarch installed a tracking program called Find Aisha, which led the crew to a rundown warehouse. Defect slipped inside first, and Iris followed to access its closed network. Their careful plan lasted until an armed ganger spotted Iris. A sprawling gunfight followed across server rooms and narrow corridors. Meanwhile, Iris fought Black ICE inside the network. The Soulkiller Secret fully emerged while the fight still raged. The warehouse held scores of Aisha copies, each trapped in a server and begging Iris for freedom. Their combined cries overloaded Iris and threw her out of the Net. Signed contracts showed that corporations planned to buy these digital prisoners. A Blackwater Saints message also connected the operation to Bull’s missing sister.

    Key Characters Introduced

    • Lotus LeMarch: This elite tech admitted that Kodai blackmailed him into running Soulkiller on Aisha and placing her consciousness inside an agent.
    • Sledge: This Blackwater Saints contact signed a threatening message seeking the technology behind Aisha’s digital consciousness, wanting to use the Soulkiller Secret.
    • Blackwater Saints: This dangerous group wanted similar technology for a captive and created a deeply personal connection to Bull’s missing sister.

    Key Events

    1. Custom firmware exposed a new lead: Iris discovered LeMarch’s name throughout the custom firmware on Kodai’s and Aisha’s agents. Research then led the crew to the elite tech’s apartment.
    2. LeMarch revealed the Soulkiller Secret: After Nova gained his trust, LeMarch admitted that Kodai forced him to digitize Aisha. He also explained that Kodai’s implants made the engram appear beside him.
    3. Find Aisha located the stolen agent: LeMarch modified Kodai’s agent with a tracking application. Its signal guided the crew to a rundown warehouse filled with server racks.
    4. The warehouse erupted into two battles: An armed ganger spotted Iris during the infiltration. The crew fought through the building while Iris battled hostile Black ICE inside its network.
    5. Hundreds of Aisha copies begged for freedom: The crew discovered mass-produced versions of Aisha awaiting corporate sale. Their pleas overloaded Iris and forced her out of the Net. The crew also found a Blackwater Saints message that may connect the operation to Bull’s missing sister.

    Standout Party Member Moments

    • Thiago: Thiago turned rare pickled asparagus into a surprisingly effective delivery scam, helping the crew reach LeMarch and obtain the Find Aisha tracker.
    • Nova: Nova used her medical credentials and persuasion to break through LeMarch’s defenses. She then became the crew’s loudest voice against excusing Aisha’s murder.
    • Defect: Defect slipped into the warehouse alone, mapped the immediate danger, counted armed footsteps, and returned with the reconnaissance needed for the infiltration.
    • ChoJo: ChoJo documented the operation for his followers, rushed inside when Iris called for help, and later left one ganger with a devastating spinal injury.
    • Winter: Winter charged into danger to protect Iris. She later ended a badly wounded ganger with a precise arrow after the firefight spread through the warehouse.
    • Iris: Iris defeated the warehouse’s Black ICE and found scores of Aisha engrams pleading for freedom. Their combined voices dealt serious damage and threw her out of the Net.
    • Bull: Bull absorbed a gunshot with his new shield, answered with a shotgun, and finished the final ganger with his fists. Then he found a Blackwater Saints message that may point toward his missing sister.

    Closing Statement

The Soulkiller Secret answered the mystery at La Lune Bleue, but it created a much worse problem. Kodai was never dining with a physical woman. His altered senses let him interact with Aisha’s engram while everyone else saw an empty chair. LeMarch claimed Kodai said Aisha had terminal cancer. However, the digital Aisha denied ever being sick. She still believed she was waiting to return to the husband who arranged her death.

The warehouse made that tragedy industrial. Hundreds of Aisha copies called to Iris from separate servers. Each wanted freedom. Meanwhile, signed contracts promised those consciousnesses to corporate buyers as search agents and other digital tools. The crew can no longer treat this as a simple recovery job. Returning one copy could earn their payment and satisfy Rogue’s assignment. It could also reward Kodai and leave the remaining engrams trapped. Turning against him may protect Aisha, but it would erase the clean payday and invite new enemies.

Then Bull found the Blackwater Saints message. Its author wanted the same technology for another captive, and Bull immediately feared that captive could be his missing sister. The discovery transformed a corporate trafficking scheme into a personal threat. Before the next session, the crew must decide what counts as saving Aisha. They also need to learn who wants to buy the copies, what Sledge plans to do, and whether Bull’s sister is still alive. Night City offered them hundreds of voices, one furious lawman, and no painless answer.

Episode 1 – Agents of Desire – La Lune Bleue Hides a Cyberpunk RED Kidnapping

    Intro Paragraph

La Lune Bleue became the center of a Cyberpunk RED mystery after the crew finally recovered from Lord Ruthven. Their morning began at the Forlorn Hope on March 10, 2045. Rent was approaching, Speedheals needed restocking, and Bull was learning to live with his new cyberarm. Then Rogue entered with an entourage and an offer. Night City’s famous solo turned fixer had heard about the crew’s last rescue. Now she wanted to test these rising edgerunners with a discreet missing-person job.

The client was Kodai Khan, a Ziggurat middle manager whose wife, Aisha Tiang, vanished during dinner. Kodai claimed she disappeared from La Lune Bleue while he visited the restroom. He offered each crew member 1,000 eddies for her safe return. However, his story created more questions than answers. Why avoid corporate security? Why would anyone kidnap a low-level administrator? Most importantly, how could someone disappear from a guarded luxury restaurant without a witness? A terrified voicemail from Aisha made the danger sound real, even as suspicion stayed close to Kodai.

The crew dressed for the venue and split into teams. Iris, Bull, ChoJo, and Nova entered La Lune Bleue, while Defect and Winter watched outside. Thiago handled research and Kodai’s agent. Inside, style mattered almost as much as money. So did access. Maurice, the defensive maître d’, wanted reservations and eddies, not questions. Iris quietly found another route through the restaurant’s network. What she uncovered changed the case. The cameras showed Kodai dining across from an empty chair. They also exposed an agent theft near his table. Before anyone could untangle that impossible evidence, an unidentified woman planted a stolen agent on Winter and turned the investigation into an arrest.

    Key Characters Introduced

    • Rogue: The legendary former solo arrived as a powerful fixer and offered the crew a chance to prove themselves through a discreet rescue job.
    • Kodai Khan: This Ziggurat middle manager hired the crew to recover his missing wife while keeping the disappearance away from corporate security.
    • Aisha Tiang: Kodai’s missing wife became the heart of the investigation through photographs, loving messages, and two frightened voicemails.
    • Maurice: The maître d’ and front manager of La Lune Bleue guarded the restaurant’s privacy, resisted questions, and became defensive about its cameras.
    • Unidentified Restaurant Woman: This suspicious woman bumped into Winter and planted a stolen agent in her clutch. Soon afterward, someone else accused Winter of theft.
    • Nova’s Corporate Admirer: An unnamed corporate manager caught Nova’s attention at the bar and turned a surveillance visit into an unexpected romantic night.

    Key Events

    1. Rogue offered the crew a test from the big leagues: Rogue visited the Forlorn Hope after hearing about the Reinmeyer rescue. She offered the crew a starter gig that could raise their reputation and lead to more work.
    2. Kodai Khan described Aisha’s impossible disappearance: Kodai said Aisha vanished from their private balcony at La Lune Bleue during his short restroom trip. He offered 7,000 eddies total and promised to become a Ziggurat communications contact if the crew brought her home.
    3. Aisha called from captivity: A voicemail reached Kodai’s personal agent while the crew stood in his apartment. Aisha said someone had covered her head, taken her from the restaurant, and locked her in a dark room. A second message later described hunger, fear, and an unreliable signal.
    4. La Lune Bleue‘s cameras contradicted the story: Iris entered the restaurant network and confirmed the reservation. However, the footage showed Kodai talking, eating, and reaching toward an empty chair for the entire evening. It also showed a man stealing an agent from a nearby table.
    5. Winter was framed for the restaurant’s theft ring: After using a lost-wallet story to ask about the cameras, Winter was bumped by an unidentified woman. Another person accused her, and guards found a stolen agent planted in her clutch. They charged her with petty theft and opened a case against her.

    Standout Party Member Moments

    • Defect: Defect questioned Kodai’s story from the start, pushed the crew to investigate every suspect, and took an outside surveillance position rather than walking blindly into the restaurant.
    • ChoJo: ChoJo summoned a fan named Jimmy Jack to bring him a sandwich, talked Kodai into a future dinner invitation, and later enjoyed the full La Lune Bleue experience while the investigation unraveled around him.
    • Bull: Bull treated Kodai as a possible suspect, then questioned a talkative bartender at La Lune Bleue. The bartender insisted he never saw Aisha, adding another crack to Kodai’s account.
    • Thiago: Thiago negotiated more than money. He secured Kodai as a future Ziggurat communications contact, researched Aisha’s ordinary corporate background, and carried the personal agent receiving her calls.
    • Nova: Nova successfully made four Speedheals before the job, dressed for La Lune Bleue, and met a corporate admirer who covered her tab before the pair disappeared into the night together.
    • Iris: Iris quietly breached La Lune Bleue’s network, cracked its reservation records and camera controls, and recovered the impossible footage that transformed a kidnapping into a deeper conspiracy.
    • Winter: Winter rented a dress, entered alone with a lost-wallet cover story, and pressed Maurice about the cameras. Her investigation ended with a planted agent, security cuffs, a petty theft charge, and Night City’s least convenient new record.

    Closing Statement

La Lune Bleue gave the crew evidence, but none of it fits together cleanly. Kodai’s apartment contained photographs and affectionate messages that supported his marriage. Aisha’s calls sounded frightened and urgent. Yet the restaurant cameras showed Kodai spending two hours across from an empty chair. He spoke to someone who was not visible, reached for a hand that was not there, and received service for two. Either the recording was altered, Aisha was concealed, or this case is stranger than a normal kidnapping.

The stolen agents add another layer. Someone lifted a device near Kodai’s table on the night Aisha vanished. Later atLa Lune Bleue, an unidentified woman slipped another stolen agent into Winter’s clutch. A separate accuser then pointed security toward her. That timing does not feel random. Maurice’s anger about the cameras also leaves the restaurant under suspicion. Whatever operates inside La Lune Bleue knows how to hide evidence and redirect attention toward an easy target.

Meanwhile, the crew left with very different results. Nova found romance. ChoJo found an expensive meal. Bull found a bartender with no memory of Aisha. Thiago received another desperate message. Iris captured the night’s most important evidence. Winter received handcuffs and a criminal accusation for her trouble. It was not the clean reconnaissance mission anyone planned.

The next session must answer the problem hiding in plain sight. Was Aisha ever physically inside La Lune Bleue? Who edited or manipulated the camera record? Why are agents disappearing around Kodai’s table? Most importantly, who framed Winter before the crew could follow the evidence? Rogue wanted to test a group of rising edgerunners. Night City answered with an empty chair, a frightened voice, and a restaurant that appears determined to keep its secrets.

  • Episode 0 – Agents of Desire – Cyberpunk Downtime Ignites Hopeful Curiosity in the Crew

Episode 0 – Agents of Desire – Cyberpunk Downtime Ignites Hopeful Curiosity in the Crew

    Intro Paragraph

This week they had a solid amount of cyberpunk downtime which took center stage after the crew survived Lord Ruthven, rescued Lucy Reinmeier, and crawled out of the desecrated chapel with their bodies mostly attached. The session did not open with another gunfight. Instead, it opened with the very Cyberpunk RED problem of what happens after the bodies hit the floor. Luck reset. Improvement points landed. Rent appeared on the calendar like a corporate invoice with teeth. Everyone had to face the ugly truth that victory in Night City still comes with repairs, medical bills, and a fresh reminder that the rent is too damn high.

That made this episode feel like a hard reset before the next real disaster. The crew returned to their cargo container housing in the Heywood docks, rested through a few days, and reached Friday, March 10, 2045. Nova handled bandages and recovery, while the group visited the Forlorn Hope and processed the reputation bump from saving Lucy. However, the cyberpunk downtime also gave the table room to chase stranger consequences. Nova claimed the purple and yellow clown outfit without knowing it marked her as wearing Bozo gang colors. Winter still had a clown head with cyber eyes. Bull needed a replacement for his lost hand.

Meanwhile, the shopping list turned into its own adventure during the cyberpunk downtime. Thiago worked contacts for cyberware, armor, and gun deals. Bull upgraded into a cyberarm with a pop-up shield. Nova tried to repair armor with mixed results. Winter stocked up on armor-piercing arrows and finally bought armor. Defect started looking past immediate survival toward Project Halcyon, Militech contacts, and the possibility of shutting down the program tied to his past.

    Key Characters

    • Freddy the Fixer: Thiago’s remembered contact entered the conversation as a possible connection for finding cyberware and getting Bull’s replacement arm handled.
    • SovOil: The lubricant company became a strange but memorable bit of Night City worldbuilding after Nova found medical lubricant in her inventory.

    Key Events

    1. The crew collected the rewards from Ruthven’s fall: The party received 120 improvement points for completing the adventure, saving Lucy Reinmeier, and gaining reputation for the rescue. That pushed most of the crew to 240 total IP.
    2. Nova accidentally stepped into Bozo territory: Nova claimed the purple and yellow clown outfit, liked it far more than expected, and added it to her gear without realizing the colors tied her to the Bozos.
    3. The calendar made rent real: The group moved to March 10, 2045, after resting in their Heywood docks cargo containers. The session also established the looming 1,000 eddie monthly rent.
    4. Bull replaced his lost hand with chrome: Thiago found a ripperdoc connection, helped discount the cyberware, and Bull bought a right cyberarm with a pop-up shield after rolling wildly uneven humanity loss.
    5. Defect pointed the story toward Halcyon and Militech: After the maintenance work, Defect laid out two long-term goals: dig into Project Halcyon and find a path toward rare Militech full-body conversion cyberware.

    Standout Party Member Moments

    • Iris: Iris helped sort out the rules chatter, rent pressure, and recovery logistics while staying tied into the crew’s next phase after the chapel.
    • ChoJo: ChoJo turned routine inventory talk into chaos, including the “Cho hole” rebrand and a steady stream of bad ideas about surgery and gear.
    • Winter: Winter kept the clown head and its cyber eyes in play, bought armor-piercing arrows, finally picked up armor, and left with one last jab.
    • Nova: Nova became the session’s best walking complication by claiming the clown outfit, discovering her medical lubricant, repairing some armor, and accepting that her surgery path needs work.
    • Thiago: Thiago did classic fixer work, finding Bull’s cyberware connection, negotiating discounts, selling looted guns, and buying a better pistol even after one painful haggle.
    • Bull: Bull took the biggest mechanical leap by replacing the missing hand with a cyberarm and pop-up shield, then worked out how the shield could eat an entire incoming hit.
    • Defect: Defect gave the downtime its long-term edge by asking Thiago to help investigate Project Halcyon, hunt for other survivors, and start searching for a Militech body.

    Closing Statement

This session was mostly cyberpunk downtime that proved that a quiet session can still move the campaign forward. Nobody kicked down a chapel door this time. Nobody had to stake Lord Ruthven again. However, the damage from that adventure shaped every choice. The group spent improvement points, counted eddies, fixed armor, bought ammo, and learned that surviving a job is only the first bill. After that comes rent, replacement gear, and the slow math of staying alive in Night City.

Nova’s Bozo outfit may become the funniest problem on the board. She wanted a cleaned-up costume because it looked good. Unfortunately, Night City does not care about personal style without context. If she walks around in those colors, someone may decide she is representing a gang she barely understands. That is exactly the kind of consequence that makes a downtime episode matter.

Bull’s new chrome during the cyberpunk downtime also changes the crew’s future fights. A cyberarm with a pop-up shield gives him a real answer to incoming fire, but it costs humanity and changes how he moves. Meanwhile, Winter’s cyber-eye salvage waits for another session, and Defect’s Halcyon goals point toward a much larger story.

The crew ended the night restocked, patched up, and closer to ready after the cyberpunk downtime. Still, ready is a dangerous word in Cyberpunk RED. Rent is coming. Project Halcyon is still out there. Militech may have the body Defect wants. In addition, the next real adventure will be “Agents of Desire” and now the crew is carrying fresh chrome, fresh problems, and just enough confidence to get into worse trouble.
